DIY Home Decor Using Air Plants

Creatively display your air plants with these simple steps on how to make modern air plant home decor. Air Plants are low maintenance, perfect for any plant enthusiast.

Materials:

Live Air Plants
Moss
2 Vases/Floral Pots
Floral Wire
Wire Cutters
Floral Foam
Knife
Spray Bottle

Step 1: Take your foam and cut it down until you have two foam pieces that fit securely into their respective vases.

Step 2: Cut off three 12" pieces of wire.

Step 3: Carefully weave the wire through the leaves of the air plant creating a circular shape to hold the plant securely. Repeat until all of your chosen air plants are wired.

Step 4: Working with the wider of the two vases, take two of the wired air plants and slowly insert the wire straight down into the foam. Make sure to place one of the two air plants at a taller height to create asymmetrical balance.

Step 5: Place moss into the wider vase until the foam is hidden.

Step 6: Take the slimmer vase and stick the remaining wired air plant straight down into the foam.

Step 7: Lastly, place moss into the base of the slim vase until you've completely covered the foam.
