How To Make A 5 Minute Wreath
Ever look at your front door and think, "I wish I had time to make a wreath." Well, Oh Everything Handmade has the solution - The 5 Minute Wreath. The hardest part about this beautiful wreath is waiting for your Afloral.com goodies to arrive!
Materials: You only need three things for this design- the 12" Grapevine wreath, the pre-made Nigella & Protea Bouquet, and the striped ribbon in black and cream. To make it your own, you can use any wreath, pre-made faux flower bouquet, and ribbon you'd like.
Step 1: Cut the wire or wrapping holding the bouquet together with wire cutters and sort the bouquet into pairs of similar stems.
Step 2: Use the large vines wrapped around the wreath to hold the flower stems in place. Begin sliding the stems under the vine, hiding the ends in the vines. Create a mirrored image by working with one pair of stems at time, inserting one on the left side of the wreath and one on the right.
Step 3: Clip any stems that stick out from the wreath with wire cutters.
Continue repeating Steps 2 & 3 until you have used all the flowers or you are happy with how it looks.
Step 4: Use a decorative ribbon to cover the stems. Simply tie a knot at the base of the wreath and cut the ribbon.
That's it! Only 5 minutes and you have a gorgeous wreath for your home. For more details on how this wreath was made visit Oh Everything Handmade.
