Designer Pumpkin and Pye is sharing how to make a bridal bouquet for a beach wedding.
Follow along and find all the silk wedding flowers you will need to duplicate this bouquet on Afloral.com.
This bouquet features beautiful shell accents. You will need a variety of shells, floral wire and stem wrap.
Insert one end of the floral wire through a hole in the shell, pull the wire through and bend so that there is a hook through the shell. If there is not a hole then you can wrap the wire around the accent.
Pinch the two ends of the wire together, with the shell in the middle and wrap the wire together with stem wrap.
Gather together your favorite silk flowers and artificial greenery. This bouquet features anemones, ranunculus, roses, peony buds, and hydrangeas. You will also need stem wrap or twine, wire cutters and decorative ribbon.
Carefully remove the leaves from the flower stems using wire cutters or scissors.
Begin bundling together each of the flower types. Hold them loosely in your hand and continue adding flowers. Work in a circle so that it looks even . When you are pleased with your bouquet size and shape then add the greenery around the outside of the bouquet.
Secure the bouquet stems by wrapping the stems together tightly with twine or stem wrap.
Add your shell accents to the bouquet. Push the wires through the flowers and hold them to the stems. When you have inserted all the accents rewrap the stems with twine/stem wrap to secure.
Trim the stems with wire cutters so they are even, for a polished look.
The last step is to wrap the bouquet stems with ribbon. This will cover the stem wrap and add the perfect finishing touch to your beach bouquet.
