DIY Silk Flower Centerpiece - From Holiday To Everyday

DIY Silk Flower Centerpiece

Silk Flowers - Poinsettias, Roses, Magnolia, Lunaria, Ranunculus, and King Protea
Dried Flowers and Berries
Bunny Tails  and Pampas Grass
Floral Foam
Floral Container
Wire Cutters and Shears

Step 1: Cut a piece of floral foam to fit into your vase.

Step 2: Add the pampas grass to create a shape you like.

Step 3: Add in the large to medium flowers.  Placing the largest flowers first (like the poinsettia) sets up a good framework for how the rest of your centerpiece will look and where to place the other smaller fillers.

Step 4: Add the fillers, and then other fun floral choices to fill out the centerpiece.

Silk Flower Centerpiece

Take your centerpiece from holiday to everyday home decor with a few simple swaps! Keep the same base of flowers and transport them, with the floral foam, to vase that fits your home style. Since the poinsettia, berries and other holiday florals are seasonal, replace those with king protea, garden roses and a few other dried flower varieties! This will give the centerpiece a whole new look so you can enjoy year-round!
