What you are going to replace your Spring wreath with? The answer is this gorgeous artificial Geranium Wreath. Designed by Rachel Elizabeth Creates, follow along and learn how to create a long lasting door wreath with our faux flowers and greenery.
You will need a foam wreath base, greening pins, and wire cutters.
This wreath features a variety of outdoor artificial flowers and greenery. To create a similar wreath collect your favorite succulents, ferns, boxwood, poppies, hydrangeas and geraniums from Afloral.com.
Begin by trimming the leaves off of the geranium bush using your wire cutters. Gently push the stem of the leaf into the foam wreath form and secure to the wreath using greening pins.
Repeat this process with the maiden hair fern.
And again with the leather fern bush. Be sure to cover the top and sides with greenery.
Using wire cutters, trim the flower sprays and bushes down to size. Attach the succulents using the greening pins and then fill in the spaces with flowers.
Finish your wreath with the geraniums. White or red, it doesn't matter! They will both decorate your door beautifully.
When you are ready to replace it with a new seasonal wreath, store it in a area away from direct sunlight. This time next year you'll be able to pull it out and hang it up again, looking as good as new!
