How To Make A Beach Themed Terrarium

Bring the beach to your home with this simple tutorial using living air plants. Perfect for wedding centerpieces or low maintenance home decor, this terrarium will bring a tropical touch to any space!

Materials:
Live Air Plants
Rhinestone Jewel Picks
Natural Sea Shells
Natural Driftwood Pieces
Terrarium Sand
Glass Rose Bubble Bowl

Step 1: Pour the sand into your glass container until it is about 1-1.5" deep.

Step 2: Place your largest shell in the front of the container.

Step 3: Lay a smaller shell just behind the conch shell, toward the front of the container.

Step 4: After placing the small shell, lay a piece of driftwood alongside the back of the container.

Step 5: Follow up with placing an upside down shell to the left of your driftwood. This will soon be the home of an air plant!

Step 6: To add a shimmer of glam, lay a rhinestone jewel pick in the center of the container with the jewel head facing the front.

Step 7: It's time to add your air plants! One should go on top of the upside down shell, and the other can be placed on top of the sand just behind the larger conch shell.
