DIY Sunflower Wedding Bouquet
Materials: This bouquet features artificial sunflowers with roses and orchids. You will also need interesting accents like succulents, fiddle heads and billy buttons. Wire cutters, floral wire, stem wrap and decorative ribbon will complete your bouquet.
Step 1: Start your bouquet by giving your succulent accents a longer stem. Hold the succulent stem and the floral wire together and wrap with stem wrap to secure.
Step 2: Begin by bundling your flowers together in one hand.
Step 3: Work in a circle, adding flowers around the bouquet until you are happy with the size.
Step 4: Add the floral accents throughout the bouquet, between the larger flower heads.
Step 5: When you are happy with how your bouquet looks wrap the stems tightly with stem wrap at the base of the flowers. Use your wire cutters to trip the ends of the stems so they are even. Finish with a decorative bouquet wrap around the stems to hide the stem wrap.
You now have a cheerful and oh-so-pretty sunflower bouquet, ready to walk down the aisle! If you follow these steps please share your finished bouquet with us on Instagram by adding #Afloral to your photos.
