United StatesThese were clearly spray painted to be blue. They look nice from a distance, but once you get up close you can see that it’s painted. If you are working with these to make bouquets, expect for paint chips to come off gradually.
United StatesReally love these Blue/Grey thistles. By far more blue/grey than the ones called blue grey which are more blue/green. The return was easy and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I understand what the other review is saying about the "paint chipping away" but I ordered this for an eclectic bridal bouquet so it fits my needs very well. I really like the color, texture and height.
I ordered the blue thistle for a custom order of boutonnieres and the color was perfect. The problem I ran into-the thistle heads are painted, the paint was prone to chip away showing the green and pink undercolor. By choosing the heads carefully and doing some trimming I was able to complete the order and I'd love to order these again, but with the paint issue and current price I'll look for an alternative to this thistle.
