This compote bowl was nicer than expected. The imperfections on the bowl make it look antique and it is well made. The size of the bowl is perfect for fresh or silk flowers or to display my seasonal ornaments like wooden or ceramic Easter eggs or Christmas ornaments. The bowl was on sale which made it all even better. Two thumbs up!

This is a great compote bowl for larger sized arrangements. It is heavy and very durable. Really nice vase overall, definitely worth the money. The color appears more gold in color in dimly lite spaces (nighttime), and more copper in color in brightly lite spaces (daytime). It is shiny, yet has a dullness to it, so fingerprints and constant polishing will not be an issue with this compote bowl.
