How to Make a Wreath from a Silk Flower Centerpiece
Do you have a silk flower arrangement that you have used to decorate your home through the holidays in years past. You love the beautiful flowers, but are ready to make a change! With artificial flowers, you can easily transform your holiday floral arrangements into a gorgeous wreath. Welcome guests into your home this summer with this vibrant wreath made from our Patriotic Floral Arrangement.
Step 1: Take apart your silk flower arrangement and lay out the flowers on your work table.
Step 2: Cut apart the greenery sprays using your wire cutters.
Step 3: Begin filling in the wreath form with the greenery. Space the greens evenly around the wreath and secure to the wire with floral tape.
Continue adding greenery until the full diameter of the wreath form is covered. Don't worry if you can still see the wire through the greenery, we will be adding flowers next!
Step 4: Trim down the flower stems to approximately 3-4" long.
Step 5: Start by adding the flower bushes, these filler flowers will cover more of the wire wreath form. Tape the wire stem of the flowers to the wreath form to secure.
Step 6: Continue adding flowers to the wreath. Start with the small flower heads and work your way up in size, distributing them evenly around the wreath. Secure the flower stems to the wreath with floral tape. The lush greenery will hide the tape.
There you have it! You have now taken your old silk flower centerpiece and made it into a brand new wreath! This beautiful door decor is perfect for the 4th of July, and will look great all summer long.
