How do I choose the right vase or container for my artificial flowers?

Your vase sets the stage for a balanced and intentional arrangement. Our rule of thumb is to choose a vase that is 1/2 to 1/3 the height of your stems. 

  • A narrow neck helps stem bunches stay upright without extra support
  • Opaque or ceramic vases can hide stem ends and create a more realistic fresh bouquet appearance.
  • Clear glass can showcase colored stems or decorative fillers.

Compote bowls can be arranged into beautiful centerpieces with movement.

Do I need floral foam or other supplies to secure stems in a vase?

While you don’t need floral foam for artificial arrangements, anchors in your arrangement can help the style last. Foam, pebbles, and wire can be used to:

  • Anchor stems more securely
  • Add weight so tall stems don’t tip
  • Cover stem ends for a clean look

Decorative fillers like river rocks, marbles, or beads can also enhance the overall aesthetic while helping support stems.

How do I keep the vase and arrangement clean?

Dust your vases regularly with a microfiber cloth. When using glass vases, wash them with mild soap and water and be sure to dry them completely before adding stems back in.
